Where is District Living in Vienna?

We’re based in the 22nd district of Donau City (also known as Vienna DC) with soaring views over the famous River Danube and Donaupark.

Thanks to its incredible transport links (the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Straßenbahn and Autobus connections are all just minutes away), you have direct 15-minute access to Vienna’s city centre while Vienna International Airport is 42 minutes away via the CityAirportTrain and U1. Don’t forget, our onsite team is available 24/7 to help you make the most of your stay.

You’re at the heart of things

Donau City has grown over the last few decades into one of the most up-and-coming neighbourhoods in the city. The UN’s Vienna International Centre (VIC) and Westfield Donau Zentrum (which features 200 shops, restaurants, two gyms, a dance centre and multiplex cinema) are only a few minutes’ walk away while there are plenty of restaurants (ra'mien go dc tower is great for a buzzy lunch and friendly service), bars and supermarkets on your doorstep.

Discover Vienna’s eclectic culture

Coffee houses, ballet, opera, baroque street, imperial palaces, the MuseumsQuartier, the Vienna Woods and Grand Master paintings. Vienna is one of the world’s most varied and exciting cities to visit and stay in. Discover the official travel guide to Vienna here. Also don’t miss the Vienna City Beach Club, which is packed with events all year round, the free Danube Island Festival in June and film festivals throughout the year. Visit here for city listings.

Dining Out

Eat, drink and discover a city filled with places to go

Vienna is at the centre of a restaurant boom right now according to Forbes magazine and it’s not a surprise. Home to traditional Wiener Schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn pancakes and world-famous Apfelstrudel, the city is also the place to discover incredible food from across the globe. Sushi, noodles, pizza, street food at the Naschmarkt, Michelin-starred fine dining at Steirereck

Don’t miss The Sunken City, a mile of restaurants and bars on Danube island just across the bridge (next to the subway station, U1 Donauinsel, there’s everything from Greek gyros to noodles) and Copa Cagrana where the locals meet for cocktails and delicious bites to eat. Everything is here, just ask our team for recommendations. Or, enjoy delicious coffee, breakfasts, lunches and drinks at District Living.

Green Spaces

Outdoor living

We’re perfectly located for you to escape into the beautiful and soothing greenery of the 245-acre Donaupark. Originally built for the 1964 Vienna International Garden Festival, the park features beautiful flower gardens, shady spots, playgrounds, tennis, a skate park and trails that are ideal for running, biking and skating.

Nearby Copabeach offers a sandy beach for bathing in the summer with bars and restaurants while Danube Island offers rental bikes, windsurfing, scuba school, rowing centre and boat hire.

Getting around

Wiener Linien tickets and passes cover the whole city. Choose from single journey tickets, 24, 48, 72hr or eight-day network cards, or a weekly, monthly or annual network pass. There are also over 1,400 km of cycle routes, and if you hire a Citybike, the first hour’s free.

One of the world's greatest cities is right on your doorstep.

Connect, live, enjoy.
